We are seeking a dynamic professional to build and strengthen client relationships by understanding their business goals and challenges, while identifying opportunities to expand adoption of cybersecurity solutions (Secure Information Exchange: https://www.pointsharp.com/de/solution/pointsharp-secure-information-exchange).

Success in this role comes from generating new business, growing existing accounts, ensuring client retention, and driving growth through strategic account management, upselling, cross-selling and active partner management.

About the role

As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions that exceed expectations. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, strengthening client partnerships, and shaping account strategies.

What you'll do

  • Drive Sales and new business activity in our solution area (Secure Information Exchange)
  • Built up a sales pipeline and be responsible for the whole sales cycle
  • Lead business development and account strategy initiatives to achieve defined results. 
  • Conduct regular account and business reviews to assess satisfaction, identify growth opportunities, and maintain client retention. 
  • Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership on industry trends, best practices, and emerging cybersecurity technologies. 
  • Coordinate with sales leadership to monitor progress toward account and sales goals.
  • International cooperation with solution engineers, product managers, marketing manager and partner managers to deliver customized solutions. 

What we're looking for

  • Hunter mentality and exceptional relationship-building skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in BDM or a similar role, preferably within an international cybersecurity environment. 
  • Knowledge of Secure Information Exchange solutions is a strong plus. 
  • Experience selling through a network of potential customers and partners is needed
  • Proven experience engaging in and collaborating with C-level executives. 
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
