Accountant

What does this role entail?

As an Accountant at Pointsharp you will be responsible for manage financial records and ensure accuracy in financial reporting for the German company.

In this role you are a part of the Finance Team, with colleagues in Germany, Sweden and Denmark, and report to the Head of Accounting in Sweden.

Accounts receivable and account payable
Bank reconciliation
Monthly, quarterly, and annual closing work
Point of contact to tax advisers for tax reconciliation and annual reports
Point of contact to the German auditors
Contribute to developing and improving internal processes
Contribute to the finance system move to Business Central (BC) planned for 2025

You’ll thrive in this role if

A good knowledge of HGB-standards
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, mainly Microsoft Excel
Fluent skills in German and English (speak and write)
A completed apprenticeship or studies with focus on finance
A solid experience in finance or accounting in a medium-sized company
Worked in finance system Business Central (BC) before, but no requirement
A teamoriented, independent, proactive and structured working style
The ability to work in cross-border teams

Du verwaltest die Debitoren- und Kreditorenbuchhaltung
Du führst Bankabstimmungen durch
Du erledigst monatliche, vierteljährliche und jährliche Abschlüsse
Du bist der Ansprechpartner für Steuerberater bei Steuerabstimmungen und Jahresberichten sowie für die deutschen Wirtschaftsprüfer
Du trägst zur Entwicklung und Verbesserung interner Prozesse bei und unterstützt die geplante Umstellung des Finanzsystems auf Business Central

Du wirst in dieser Rolle erfolgreich sein, wenn

Du über gute Kenntnisse der HGB-Standards verfügst
Du eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder ein Studium mit Schwerpunkt Finanzen hast
Du gute Kenntnisse des Microsoft Office-Pakets, vor allem Microsoft Excel besitzt
Du über fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (in Wort und Schrift) verfügst
Du solide Erfahrung im Finanz- oder Rechnungswesen in einem mittelständischen Unternehmen hast
Du bereits im Finanzsystem Business Central gearbeitet hast (keine Voraussetzung)
Du teamorientiert, eigenständig, proaktiv und strukturiert arbeitest und die Fähigkeit besitzt, in grenzüberschreitenden Teams zu arbeiten
